This can also happen to you on Facebook. Luckily there is a way of blocking someone you do not want to interact with on Facebook. With a few clicks of the mouse, you can make someone disappear from your Facebook activities.
The easiest way of blocking someone is going to their profile page while you are signed in. Once you open the page, you will see a cover photo and some buttons on the bottom left side of the cover photo.
Click on the button with three dots and select 'Block' from the drop down menu. Watch video below.
What Happens when You Block Someone?
- If you block a friend, he/she will be unfriended immediately. Even when you unblock that person in future, you will not be friends unless you send him/her a friend request.
- The person you block will no longer see your past posts or the posts you make on your wall in future.
- A blocked user will not be able to send you private messages on Facebook.
- A blocked user will not be able to Friend request you or start any type of conversation with you through the Facebook platform.
- When you block someone, he/she will not be able to tag you in posts or photos. That user will also not be able to invite you to events.
